Meet Our President

Greetings,  

 

On behalf of the members of Kappa Eta Omega Chapter of 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, I welcome you to

our chapter's website!  Our chapter prides itself on changing lives through

sisterhood and service! Since 1974, Kappa Eta Omega chapter has been

committed to the purpose of “Service to All Mankind.”   Kappa Eta Omega also

provides a legacy of service to the city of Valdosta and surrounding counties by

working to fulfill the organizations mission through program initiatives,

community engagement, and partnerships.  

 

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is the first Greek-lettered

organizations founded by college-educated African-American women in 1908

at Howard University.   Kappa Eta Omega continues to build upon the

vision of our dear founders as we have been entrusted with a great legacy.

 

Kappa Eta Omega is currently executing the 2018-2022  International Program

of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Exemplifying Excellence Through

Sustainable Service implemented by our International President,

Dr. Glenda Glover.  The sorority's 2018-2022 International Program Initiative

address community needs with community impact days and our signature program #CAP.  

Our five target areas are:

  • Building Your Economic Legacy

  • The Arts!
