Greetings and Welcome!
On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Kappa Eta Omega Chapter, I am honored to welcome you to our website. Chartered on June 15, 1974, Kappa Eta Omega proudly serves the communities of Valdosta-Lowndes, Brooks, and Cook counties in South Georgia, as well as Hamilton County in North Florida. For over five decades, we have upheld the Sorority’s distinguished legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
As President of this esteemed chapter, I am humbled to continue the work of the trailblazing women who set the standard before me. Together, we remain committed to elevating our service to the community and fulfilling the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® through purposeful programming, meaningful connections, and unwavering excellence.

Founded in 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is the first African American sorority established by and for college-educated women. Under the visionary leadership of our 31st International President, Danette Anthony Reed, we are “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood.”
